The Bengals could use the star running back to add depth at the position.
The Cincinnati Bengals have had an interesting last few years when it comes to the running back position. After losing Joe Mixon, all eyes turned to Chase and Zack Moss.
The former became the team’s go-to option at the position, but depth is going to be something that might be tested for the Bengals, and it was a season ago. That’s why they went out and traded for Khalil Herbert.
Adding Day 2 talent should be necessary for Cincinnati, and one name they might be considering is Virginia Tech star Bhayshul Tuten.
Tuten ran a 4.15-second short shuttle at the Virginia Tech pro day, which should help his stock and was significantly better than his time at the 2025 NFL Combine, which was held in Indianapolis.
“On Wednesday, he met with the Cincinnati Bengals, who ran the position drills, and has an official-30 visit set with the Steelers,” Sportskeeda.com’s Tony Pauline wrote.
There might be multiple suitors for Tuten, so it’ll be interesting to see where he lands.
Tuten spent two seasons at Virginia Tech, ending this past year with 1,159 rushing yards and an average of 105.4 per game. He had 15 rushing and two receiving touchdowns as well, cementing himself as one of the best rushers in the ACC.
Despite Brown’s success and likely starting role, the Bengals didn’t get much from others at the position and could be primed to take a long look at Tuten as the draft inches closer.
