This one is about as must win as a game can be.
After failing to get their record to .500 by falling to the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 10, the Cincinnati Bengals’ backs are truly against the wall. They now travel to the West Coast to face the 5-3 Los Angeles Chargers.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Bengals are opening Week 11 as 1.5-point underdogs in LA. The over/under is 46.5 total points.
The Week 11 game was flexed from a 4 PM game to Sunday Night Football, and the 4-6 Bengals absolutely need a win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. A win would keep them alive in the wildcard hunt, and a loss, sending them to their Week 12 bye with a 4-7 record, likely keeps them on the outside looking in unless they win out.
Both wide receiver Tee Higgins and left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. have missed the Bengals’ last two games and will hopefully be back to help the offense keep things moving. The defense, which has been the team’s Achilles’ heel this season, will be up to the task of stopping Justin Herbert and JK Dobbins.
