After not playing for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Raiders on Christmas, will wide receiver Kadarius Toney be back for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals?
Unfortunately the answer appears to be no. On Friday, Chiefs insider Pete Sweeney reported that Toney as well as Donovan Smith will be ruled out for Sunday’s game.
“The #Chiefs say that LT Donovan Smith and WR Kadarius Toney will be listed as OUT against the Bengals. CB L’Jarius Sneed is still working through his calf injury and is QUESTIONABLE for the game. RB Isiah Pacheco practiced Friday, and the Chiefs will see how he does following the workout to clear concussion protocol. RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is fighting through his illness. Kansas City could have both running backs available on Sunday. Andy Reid said WR Mecole Hardman could possibly be activated ahead of the game,” Sweeney wrote.
As Sweeney noted, the team is still waiting to determine the status of starting running back Isiah Pacheco and wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

Kadarius Toney is having a rough season with the Chiefs. On top of his lackluster performances, fans are still furious with him for being offsides on what would have been a game-winning play against the Bills a few weeks ago.
Have we seen the last of Toney in a Chiefs uniform?
