The Bengals may still have to replace Trey Brown in their front office.
The Cincinnati Bengals have had Trey Brown as an executive under Duke Tobin since 2022 after hiring him as a scout in 2021.
Brown has been a hot front office name for a few offseasons now after helping construct the foundation of the current team. He most recently was a finalist with the New York Jets before getting passed over.
Now, the Jacksonville Jaguars are requesting to interview him for their now-vacant general manager position.

Jacksonville just hired Liam Coen (former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator) after firing general manager Trent Baalke late in the process.
This would also open up the Bengals to receiving two third-round compensatory selections (one in each of the next two drafts) through the NFL’d diversity program.
Brown would be in charge of building a contender around quarterback Trevor Lawrence. And landing in the AFC South is actually a pretty sweet gig right now if you can put a decent squad together.
Cincinnati, infamously, has a very small scouting department and front office altogether. They’d need to fill any hole left in that department super quickly ahead of the busiest time of the year.
