Ja’Marr Chase knows his payday is coming.
The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver discussed the topic while meeting with reporters on Friday, two days before the regular season finale.
Chase was asked if would take less money for the team to re-sign wide receiver Tee Higgins, also due for an extension.
“That’s a good question. Who knows? It depends on how much I’m taking. It depends at the end of the day, because then I might not really be taking a cut. It might come from somewhere else.”

During his three seasons in the league, Chase has established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Through 44 games, Chase has 264 receptions for nearly 3,700 yards and 29 touchdowns, averaging 14 yards per catch.
Higgins has become a star receiver himself, recording 257 receptions for nearly 3,7000 yards and 24 touchdowns, averaging 14.3 yards per catch,
We’ll see if the Bengals can find a way to take care of both wideouts.
