The Bengals aren’t sure if they’ll have Pro Bowl wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase for this Sunday’s showdown with the Chiefs.
Bengals coach Zac Taylor told reporters Friday that Chase’s status is still up in the air. The former first-round pick is still nursing a shoulder injury.
Chase missed last Saturday’s game against the Steelers because of his injury. The offense struggled in his absence, scoring just 11 points.

Even though Chase’s status is still up in the air right now, he has thrown a ton of shade at the Chiefs this week. He hasn’t backed away from the smoke either.
“I’m just adding fire to the fuel,” Chase said. “They’re going to take this, run with it. Hope they put it in their locker.”
In 14 games this season, Chase has 93 catches for 1,156 yards and seven touchdowns. The Bengals would obviously benefit from having him at their disposal this weekend.
