The Bengals’ leaders aren’t throwing in the towel.
The Cincinnati Bengals are out of the playoff picture, and it isn’t looking good, as they have yet to win a game at home.
Still, there is hope. And Joe Burrow isn’t giving up.
“I think 10 wins usually gets you in, so we’ve got to win seven out of nine,” he said. “That’s doable, so we’ll go from there.”
Currently, the Bengals have just a 27.6% chance of making the playoffs.
But this isn’t just any 3-5 team. It’s one with an elite QB and veterans who still believe.
“There’s a lot of football to be played,” said center Ted Karras. “The season’s not even half over.”
The immediate mission? Winning at home. “We can talk about January all we want,” Karras said. “What we need to do is win in Paycor. Right after Halloween.”
Up next, the Bengals face the Las Vegas Raiders at home.
