Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is confident in his team heading into next season.
Burrow will be fully healthy, meaning they’ll be in the conversation for a playoff spot and the AFC North. He expects a lot of improvement for the 2024 season and even thinks the Bengals are built to beat the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Both teams have great players. We are kind of built to beat them,” Burrow said.
In a way, the Bengals have been the Chiefs’ kryptonite over the last few years. The Bengals beat the Chiefs in an AFC Championship Game to go to a Super Bowl and are 3-1 against the Chiefs with Burrow at quarterback.
The only loss came in January of last year when the Chiefs got revenge on the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game, 23-20.
The two teams are set to play against each other again in 2024, with the game being held at Arrowhead Stadium. A date has not been finalized for it but it’ll likely be played in primetime whenever the date gets announced.
Burrow played in 10 games this past season before he was lost for the year with a torn wrist ligament. He finished with 2,309 yards through the air and 15 touchdowns.
