The Bengals have a four game stretch that could get them to 5-4 and back on track
We all joke about the Cincinnati Bengals’ slow starts the past few years, but this season has easily been the worst of the worst.
Shockingly, the Bengals are currently sitting at 1-4 to start the season, and the panic button has officially been hit.
Joe Burrow and the offense have played incredibly well outside of week one, but the defense has been monumentally horrid.
The defense has shown zero capability to be competitive or even get a stop through the first couple of weeks.
As scary as the season has been, Cincinnati’s upcoming games still offer some optimism.
Even Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio has not given up on the Bengals just yet, and the short stretch starting with the Giants on Sunday should give us all a little bit of hope.
The next four games for Cincinnati are the New York Giants (2-3), Cleveland Browns (1-4), Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) and Las Vegas Raiders (2-3).
As hard as it may be, take it game by game, and the Bengals will find their groove.
