NFL playoffs picture: Latest odds for Bengals to make the postseason and updated AFC standings

It wasn’t good, and now it’s worse.

The Cincinnati Bengals looked like they were going to pull it off on Sunday night when Joe Burrow found Ja’Marr Chase in the end zone for the second time, tying the game at 27 in the fourth quarter.

In the end, though, the jaws of defeat were too quick for the Bengals, and they fell thanks to a late Chargers touchdown.

Now, the Bengals head into their bye week with a 4-7 record, and according to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Bengals’ odds to make the NFL Playoffs have now dropped to +390.

If you’re unfamiliar with sports betting lingo, +390 means that you could place a $100 bet and win $390. So if you’re looking to make a few bucks, you could place a bet on the Bengals winning out to get to the postseason, because that’s what it would probably take.

If you’re a little more pessimistic, and I’m assuming that’s the majority of Bengals fans right now, their odds to miss the playoffs have risen to -550, meaning you’d have to wager $550 just to win $100.

You won’t make a lot unless you bet a lot that way, but with how this team is performing, it looks like easy money.

Ahead of the Monday Night Football clash between the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys, here are the updated standings for the AFC playoffs.
