Apparently, NFL referees are taking the weekend off. During the Bengals-Steelers game, the officiating crew missed a blatant pass interference call.
As Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III was trying to haul in a deep pass, Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton got there a bit too early and collided with him.
Although this collision occurred before the football got there, Austin didn’t get the pass interference call.
Pittsburgh fans were understandably furious with this no-call.

This missed penalty may not loom large considering the Bengals have looked awful this Saturday.
It appears Jake Browning’s improbable run is coming to an end. The Washington product has already thrown two brutal interceptions.
The Steelers have a commanding 21-0 lead over the Bengals in large part because of Mason Rudolph’s efficient play.
