The big offensive lineman is sidelined yet again.
The Cincinnati Bengals knew they needed to bolster their offensive line to both enhance their run game and provide stability and time for star quarterback Joe Burrow.
Bringing in Orlando Brown Jr. from Kansas City was supposed to provide that. While Brown Jr. has had a solid season, he has been battling injuries in recent weeks and how now injured his knee against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Bengals’ Week 8 matchup.
The team announced his return is questionable following the first-half injury, but he has yet to return to the game, so it appears he’s out. Cody Ford is now the left tackle.
Cincinnati found itself in a 0-3 hole and now must dig its way out. It will need to beat the Eagles to hit .500 for the first time since before the season. Not having Brown Jr. makes that far more difficult against a great Eagles front seven.
