The Cincinnati Bengals have made a few new additions to their coaching staff.
Jordan Salkin has been hired as an offensive assistant while Ronnie Regula has been hired as a defensive assistant. Ben Jacobs rounds out the group as a special teams assistant.
All three have been hired by Bengals head coach Zac Taylor to help those respective units.
Salkin most recently worked for Oregon under head coach Dan Lanning in 2023. He also worked for the Miami Dolphins as their quality control coach in 2021.
Regula was most recently with Notre Dame and served as the program’s senior defensive analyst over the last two seasons.
Jacobs has worked for the Washington Commanders and Carolina Panthers as their special teams assistants.
Taylor will be hoping that these three coaches bring some fresh and innovative ideas to their respective units.
The Bengals finished the 2023 season with a 9-8 record even though they lost star quarterback Joe Burrow to an injury for most of the second half of the season.
With him back in the fold for 2024, they’ll be one of the teams to beat in the AFC.
