The big left tackle could return just in time to face the Steelers.
The Cincinnati Bengals (4-7) could be getting a huge lift out of the bye week.
Orlando Brown Jr. is recovering from a knee injury he suffered in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns, which he aggravated the next week against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Now, ahead of a big AFC North showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3), the left tackle could be set for his return.
During his Wednesday press conference, head coach Zac Taylor said he “feels good” about Brown.

Needless to say, Brown’s return is massive. Since he’s gone down, the Bengals offensive line has taken a turn for the worst, giving up 13 QB hits against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10 and 14 more QB hits against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.
In other news, Sheldon Rankins will not practice today as he is still dealing with a viral illness that sidelined him in Week 11. It sounds like there’s a real chance it will keep him out this week.
Here’s to hoping Rankins gets well soon!
