Kentucky is set to have some transfer commitments in town this weekend. Rising junior center Brandon Garrison was the first to let people know about Kentucky’s transfer visits during a sitdown interview with KSR on Thursday.
“I don’t know them all, you know. Gonna have to get used to them, reach out to them and stuff,” Garrison said. “But Coach was telling me some of them coming this weekend, so hopefully I can connect with them.”
Sources tell KSR+ that Kentucky is set to host Denzel Aberdeen, Mouhamed Dioubate, Jaland Lowe, and Kam Williams for official visits this weekend. Jayden Quaintance is the only commit not set to visit.
“Yes, we will be there tomorrow morning for a visit to our new home,” Williams’ father, Greg Williams Sr. told KSR+. “Super excited for my son as Kentucky is his dream school. Can’t wait to set the smile on his face when he puts on Kentucky Blue!”
Kentucky’s 2025 Transfer Class
Kentucky has the nation’s No. 1-ranked transfer class in 2025, per On3. Four of the five commits are set to visit this weekend.
Croatian stretch forward Andrija Jelavic is still playing postseason basketball overseas, but could be visiting afterward. Otega Oweh is testing the NBA Draft waters, but is leaving the door open to return. The final date to withdraw his name from the draft pool is May 28.
Including Oweh, Pope currently has 12 players on board for the 2025-26 season: four returnees, five transfers, two high schoolers, and one international prospect. It’ll be one of the deepest teams in all of college basketball next season. Some might view that as having too many mouths to feed, but Garrison views it as an opportunity for iron to sharpen iron.
“That’s one of the things Coach Pope talked to me about, just having more guys in practice to go against,” Garrison added. “We didn’t have that last year. So just having that this year, I feel like it’ll make us all better.”
Garrison will take the first step in getting to know some of his new teammates this weekend. If you spot a future Kentucky Wildcat walking around town over the next couple of days, make sure to welcome them to the Big Blue Nation.
