Former Kentucky and Providence forward Bryce Hopkins has committed to St. John’s out of the transfer portal.
Hopkins averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per game as a freshman at Kentucky. He transferred to Providence and developed into a star there. In 50 games with the Friars, he averaged 15.8 points and 8.5 rebounds.
In 2022-23, Hopkins was an All-Big East Conference player. His last two seasons were derailed by injuries.
