The Wildcats are still in the hunt for this top-10 recruit and don’t have to worry about Arkansas anymore.
The Kentucky Wildcats are one of the many teams chasing 5-star power forward Caleb Wilson.
Standing 6-foot-9, Wilson is the 4th-best power forward in the Class of 2025 and the best player from Georgia.
Now, Wilson has cut his list of schools down to five, and Kentucky made the cut. Also making it were the Tennessee Volunteers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Ohio State Buckeyes, and UCF Knights.
John Calipari and the Arkansas Razorbacks were cut.

Wilson is listed by 247Sports rankings as the 8th-best player in the country and by 247 Sports composite rankings as the 5th-best recruit.
He’s expected to make a decision in the near future but will wait until we’re a little bit into the college hoops season to make a decision, as he’d like to see how the team’s play and respond to the coaches before deciding.
In a recent interview with KSR, Wilson wanted to make one thing clear — he isn’t going to be just about the NIL money.
“I’m a guy who believes in God, and I hope he guides me into a decision that’s best for me. But, I’m never going to make a decision straight off of money,” Wilson told Jack Pilgrim.
The Wildcats have a loaded class of 2025, with Jaspher Johnson, a top-15 player in the country, set to join the Cats. Numerous quality 4-star recruits will be joining him, so adding Wilson would be the icing on top of an already impressive group.
