Wilson is ready to make the call.
The time has come for top-10 prospect Caleb Wilson to make his decision.
Wilson will be making his collegiate choice on Thursday, January 23d, according to 247 Sports’ Travis Branham.
In addition, Wilson has cut his list down to the Kentucky Wildcats, Ohio State Buckeyes, and North Carolina Tar Heels.
However, the two heavy favorites are the Wildcats and Tar Heels, as it would be a complete shock if it’s not one of those two.
The winds were blowing in Kentucky’s direction for much of the last few months, but the Tar Heels have been picking up steam leading up to the decision date.
As it winds down, Mark Pope and Kentucky’s staff have done a phenomenal job recruiting the top-10 player out of Atlanta, Ga., and it doesn’t hurt that one of Wilson’s best friends in the high school ranks, Acaden Lewis, is a Kentucky signee and will suit up for Pope’s Wildcats next season. Both players have made it known that they would like to play alongside one another.
Can Mark Pope land his fourth recruit in the 2025 class, putting his stamp on the recruiting world? We’ll find out soon enough!
