Erin Calipari, the daughter of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari, isn’t afraid to fire back at internet trolls. She made that clear earlier this week.
After Kentucky lost to South Carolina on Tuesday night, an angry fan found an old tweet from Erin Calipari and decided to send a nasty reply.
“Your father just got blown out by South Carolina,” the fan wrote. “That’s unacceptable. I was so excited about a Big Z but now I’m so mad. Tell your father if we don’t make the final four this year he’s fired. Go cats!”
A few moments later, Calipari got the last laugh by ripping this Kentucky fan to shreds.
“Hi Rico. Thanks for the message,” she replied. “Please tell your father that you spend your evenings messaging adult children of basketball coaches on Twitter. I’m sure he will be proud.”

This post from Calipari went viral, receiving well over 330,000 views.
Contrary to what that fan told Calipari, the Wildcats are very much a contender this season. Of course, the pressure will ramp up once March rolls around.
Kentucky will be back in action this Saturday night against Arkansas.
