The NBA has now had two massive trades including two Kentucky players
The NBA has now finalized two blockbuster trades in the past 24 hours.
These two trades have included two former Kentucky Wildcats stars in Anthony Davis and now De’Aaron Fox.
Sunday night, Fox was officially traded to the San Antonio Spurs in a trade with the Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls, also sending Zach Lavine to the Kings.
Shams Charania broke the news first.
Full trade:
Spurs: De’Aaron Fox, Jordan McLaughlin
Kings: Zach LaVine, Sidy Cissoko, three first round picks (2025 CHA, 2027 SAS, 2031 MIN), three second round picks (2025 CHI, 2028 DEN, 2028 own back)
Bulls: Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter, their own 2025 pick via SAS https://t.co/UgwylCUYAO

Fox now joins up and coming superstar Victor Wembanyama, becoming quite an intriguing duo with GM Brian Wright looking to get the Spurs back on track.
The full trade has the Spurs landing Fox and Jordan McLaughlin.
The Kings land Zach LaVine, Sidy Cissoko, three first round picks (2025 CHA, 2027 SAS, 2031 MIN), three second-round picks (2025 CHI, 2028 DEN, 2028 own back).
The Bulls land Zach Collins, Tre Jones, and Kevin Huerter, their own 2025 pick via SAS, according to Shams.
The Spurs gave up quite a bit to bring an All-Star point guard like Fox, and they clearly have faith in the former Wildcat, who has been among the NBA’s best point guards, though that hasn’t translated to postseason success in Sacramento.
Here’s to hoping that changes in a big way now that he’s with a more functional Spurs organization!
