Booker has cemented himself as an all-time NBA scorer.
Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker has officially cemented his legacy in franchise history, becoming the team’s all-time leading scorer.
Entering Monday night’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, Booker needed just 23 points to surpass Suns legend and Hall of Famer Walter Davis, who held the record with 15,666 career points for 37 years.
Booker wasted no time in making history, reaching the milestone in less than three quarters. The 28-year-old guard, who has been the face of the franchise since being drafted 13th overall in 2015, continues to prove himself as one of the NBA’s most elite scorers.
Finishing with 34 points, Booker now has 15,678 career points, all of which have come in Phoenix.

Booker’s journey to NBA stardom is even more remarkable, considering his time at Kentucky.
During the 2014-15 season, Booker played a key role for a Wildcats team that went 38-1 and reached the Final Four. However, despite his undeniable talent, he never started a single game that season, coming off the bench as part of Kentucky’s dominant platoon system. He still managed to average 10 points per game while shooting over 40% from three, setting the stage for his rise to NBA superstardom.
Now, nearly a decade later, Booker has become a franchise icon for the Suns, passing a record many thought would stand the test of time. With plenty of years still ahead of him, the three-time All-Star is only adding to his legacy as one of the best scorers in the game.
