Coveted Drexel transfer Amari Williams has committed to Kentucky, he announced Sunday.
The 3 time CAA Defensive Player of the Year is the third addition to new head coach Mark Pope’s roster, joining former BYU commit Collin Chandler and John Calipari era four-star signee Travis Perry.
He chose the Wildcats over St. John’s and Mississippi State.
Williams, a 6-foot-10 forward, averaged 12.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 blocks on 51.7% shooting last season.
The 22-year-old is still testing the NBA Draft waters and has until May 29th to withdraw.
