Class of 2024 five-star wing Karter Knox will announce his college choice on Saturday, according to Overtime Elite.
Knox, a McDonald’s All-American, will announce his commitment live at halftime of Game 2 of the OTE Finals at approximately 7:30 pm ET. It will be broadcast on the OTE social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
The 6-foot-5 wing is the brother of former Kentucky standout and 2018 NBA Draft first round pick Kevin Knox. His Crystal Ball is 100% in favor of Kentucky.
Knox has cut his list to Kentucky, Louisville, South Florida, and G-League Ignite, and visited Louisville and Kentucky in October.
Kentucky commit Boogie Fland of Archbishop Stepinac (N.Y.) previously told ZAGSBLOG he was recruiting Knox to Lexington.
“Yeah, we’re trying to get Karter Knox, we’re trying to get Karter Knox,” Fland told ZAGSBLOG at the Hoophall Classic in January.
Fland’s message to Knox?
“Come on, let’s go,” Fland said. “We’ve been talking for like two months, gotta come on, man.. But we just gotta be patient, gotta let him have his journey, not trying to rush him or anything.”
