Amid a wave of transfer portal news, four-star high school guard Acaden Lewis has decomitted from Kentucky, he announced.
“This was an incredibly difficult decision, but I have to do what’s best for my future,” Lewis told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony. “Thank you to Coach Pope and the whole Kentucky staff for all they’ve done for me so far.”
Lewis — the 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard from Sidwell Friends School (DC) and the Team Durant Nike EYBL AAU program — committed to Kentucky in November over Duke and UConn.
He joined five-star point guard Jasper Johnson and four-star big man Malachi Moreno in Kentucky’s 2025 class.
Kentucky has also added Pittsburgh transfer point guard Jaland Lowe, Tulane transfer wing Kam Williams, Alabama transfer forward Mo Dioubate and Arizona State transfer big man Jayden Quaintance.
