Friday Headlines: Boozer Twins Decision

The twins will land at Duke or Miami.

As each day passes by, Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball head coach Mark Pope is getting closer to his first season leading the Wildcats. While he’s working tirelessly to prepare his team for what many anticipate to be an exciting year, Pope is also hard at work on building his future recruiting classes — most importantly, putting emphasis on his 2025 recruiting class.

The Wildcats have landed both Jasper Johnson and Malachi Moreno but still await answers from several of their other targets, who are expected to complete the class.

Two of those desired players were the Boozer twins — Cam and Cayden — who (according to 247 Sports) rank No. 2 and No. 21 in the 2025 class. While the tandem would have been a massive win for Pope and his staff, Kentucky was never the odds-on-favorite during their recruitment and basketball insider Adam Zagoria ended any speculation when he took to X on Thursday stating the Boozer twins are deciding between Duke and Miami for school.

While it would have been tremendous to land the talented duo, there are so many players that are appealing to Kentucky and haven’t decided where they’ll play college basketball.
