Cats begin their season with two games in Nashville.
Kentucky baseball returns to begin its 2025 season today with a doubleheader at Lipscomb.
The No. 20-ranked Wildcats went 2-0 in the exhibition season, outscoring Wright State and Morehead State by a combined 43 runs.
Last season, head coach Nick Mingione’s team went to the College World Series and today will begin their journey to what they hope is a repeat berth for the coveted event.
Kentucky’s first game against Lipscomb is scheduled to start at 1 PM ET with the following game scheduled to begin around 4 PM ET or shortly after the conclusion of the first game.
Last night, No. 8 Kentucky women’s basketball faced off against No. 3 Texas at Historic Memorial Coliseum.
Unfortunately, the Wildcats fell short of a victory and suffered a 67-49 loss.
It was the second consecutive loss for the Wildcats and the first time that has happened to head coach Kenny Brooks in his first season leading the program.
The highlight of the night was way greater than either team winning, as Brooks’ wife — Chrissy — announced she is cancer-free. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 and, through the power of prayer, she was victorious.
Wow. What an emotional moment

Brooks went into detail on how the last year has been the hardest of his life. He gave thanks to everyone in his life — including Big Blue Nation — who helped him during the dark times.
Kentucky will get back to the court on Sunday when they host Georgia. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 PM ET with television coverage on SEC Network Plus.
