Would be big for the Cats.
The Kentucky Wildcats took a huge hit to their roster on Saturday as they lost a key wide receiver to the transfer portal.
Sophomore wideout Hardley Gilmore entered his name on the last day of the portal window, causing some panic among the BBN.
Well, now it appears that panic might have been for nothing.
According to a report by Pete Nakos of On3, Gilmore is thinking through a return to Lexington for next season. Zack Geoghegan of KSR also had the same report.

Despite a relatively quiet first season in Lexington, all signs pointed to Gilmore playing a huge role in the offense this coming season. So, hearing the news of a potential return should be music to the BBN’s ears.
In the portal era, there always seems to be a wild story for each team, and this might be the one that Kentucky can point to if they can retain Gilmore. Definitely a story to watch in the coming days.
