Alozie is a consensus top-15 prospect ranked as high as sixth overall.
The Kentucky Wildcats continue to get ahead of the game by contacting and offering players in the class of 2026, and it will not stop anytime soon.
According to Jacob Polacheck of KSR, Kentucky recently offered Ikenna Alozie. A 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard from Phoenix, Arizona, Alozie is a 5-star recruit on almost every recruiting website and is a consensus top-15 prospect. His highest ranking is sixth overall at Rivals.
Since Mark Pope took over for Kentucky, he has been eyeing Alozie, and now he’s been officially offered. The point guard, who grew up in Nigeria, has only been in the United States since 2022.
Since Pope became the new head coach at Kentucky, he has offered nine players so far in the class of 2026. Alozie joins the likes of point guards Brandon McCoy Jr. and Tay Kinney, combo guard Jason Crowe, shooting guard Caleb Holt, small forwards Tyran Stokes, Jordan Smith Jr., and Tajh Ariza, and power forward Miikka Muurinen as 2026 recruits who’ve been offered by the Cats.
