Jacob Toppin, who wasn’t really known as a high-scoring player during his Kentucky career, is putting up some impressive number in the NBA G League.
Monday night, Toppin broke the Westchester Knicks record for most points in a first half. Toppin scored 30 points in the first half and finished with 36 in the game.
Unfortunately, the Knicks lost 116-110 to the Indiana Mad Ants and former Kentucky All-American Oscar Tshiebwe. Tshiebwe had 11 points and 11 rebounds in the game.
