The Cats add another player to a revamped defense.
The Kentucky Wildcats added another on Friday night, as they stayed hot on the transfer recruiting trail.
After securing a commitment from Nebraska transfer, Dante Dowdell, Mark Stoops and Brad White added a transfer at a key position of need on the defensive line.
Wyoming transfer Jaden Williams is coming off a visit to Lexington, and he has decided this is the spot he wants to play college football next season. He took to Twitter to announce the news.

Williams, a 6-4 and 290-pound defensive tackle from Inglewood (CA), spent three seasons playing for the Cowboys of Wyoming. He was a 3-star recruit in the 2022 class and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
He finished the 2024 season with 20 tackles and a half a sack. He’s earned Pro Football Focus grades of 66.5 in 202, 75.6 in 2023, and 69.4 in 2024.
With plenty of spots open on the defense, Williams fills a hole left by Keeshawn Silver along the D-line for the Cats. Those numbers helped make Williams a hot commodity among some programs looking for defensive line help, including the Georgia Bulldogs. And anytime we can say the Cats beat out Georgia for a recruit is a good day.
Williams now becomes the 11th transfer commit for the Cats in this portal cycle, and only the third on the defensive side of the ball. With some more visitors in town this weekend, the BBN should stay on commitment watch.
Things are still trending in the right direction. Let’s see if the Cats can continue to build some positive momentum.
