The talented wide receiver has officially reopened his recruitment.
After just five months of being committed to the Kentucky Wildcats, 4-star wide receiver Ja’Kayden Ferguson has officially reopened his recruitment.
The wideout went to social media and stated “My recruitment is 100% back open I am no longer committed to the University of Kentucky please respect my decision.”
Ferguson recently visited LSU, and the Texas native is ready to explore more options after his original commitment to Big Blue Nation.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound Ferguson plays for Fort Bend Marshall. Rivals has him graded as a 4-star athlete ranked 38th in the state of Texas for the 2025 class.
Ferguson committed to Kentucky back in June and was wide receiver coach Daikiel Shorts Jr.’s first win in his new position.
However, college football has become one of the most unpredictable atmospheres, and Ferguson is just an example of that.
Ferguson now opens his recruitment with other offers from Alabama, Miami, Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oklahoma, LSU, and others.
