The UK wing takes home the top spot in the latest ranking.
The Kentucky Wildcats are just over a week away from kicking off their season at Rupp Arena as they welcome the BBN to Big Blue Madness.
With the first game now about a month away, the final preseason rankings are starting to make their appearance, and one of the latest should get the fanbase excited about one player in particular on the roster.
In his latest ranking, Andy Katz listed his most likely break-out players for this upcoming season. UK wing Jaxson Robinson takes the top spot on the list. He is also joined on the list by two other players from the SEC: Matthew Murrell (Ole Miss) and Collin Murray-Boyles (South Carolina).
Robinson is coming off an impressive season at BYU that saw him land the Big XII Sixth Man of the Year award. Now, with a bigger platform and potentially the feature role on offense, it makes sense that Robinson could make some noise in college basketball this season.
If this ranking comes true, you also have to assume the Cats will be contenders in the SEC and have a chance to make some noise in March.
