Former Duke star JJ Redick is the new head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Redick has agreed on a four-year contract to coach the Lakers.
The Lakers reportedly had initial talks with Redick almost a month ago. The team threw a Hail Mary at UConn head coach Dan Hurley before circling back to Redick.
