Former Kentucky big man Karl-Anthony Towns scored a career-high 62 points in the Timberwolves’ 128-125 loss to the Hornets tonight.
Towns was 21-for-35 from the field, including 10-for-15 from the three-point line in the game. He also pulled down 8 rebounds.
In the closing seconds, Towns drove to the rim with Minnesota trailing by a point. It appeared he was fouled (multiple times), but the officials swallowed their whistles and called nothing.

Sure looks like a foul on KAT but as always we’ll have to wait for the last 2 minute report pic.twitter.com/7ZopEXrgTv
