LEXINGTON, Ky. – Tevin Shears, former Ole Miss women’s basketball manager of creative content, has been hired as the University of Kentucky women’s basketball director of creative content, it was announced by head coach Kenny Brooks on Friday.
“I am looking forward to this new chapter at the University of Kentucky,” Shears said. “Coach Brooks has put together a great staff and roster so far, and I am excited to be a part of what he is building in Lexington.”
Shears arrives in Lexington after spending one season as the manager of creative content at Ole Miss in 2023-24. With the Rebels, he played a critical role in building a nationally recognized brand. Before that, he was the lead content creator for the national champion UConn men’s basketball program in 2022-23. In Storrs, Shears produced content across the board from photo, video and graphic design.
Shears also spent time at Dorman High School managing the men’s basketball program’s social media, as the Cavaliers went on to win four straight 5A State Championships.
A Gaffney, South Carolina, native, Shears graduated from Limestone College in 2017.
