Another big win for Kenny Brooks and Kentucky.
Mark Pope and Kenny Brooks are celebrating victories both on and off the court this week. The two head coaches have landed several key recruits over the last few days.
Now, it’s 5-star recruit Maddyn Greenway of Providence (MN) who announced her pledge to the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday.
The 5-foot-8 point guard is currently ranked as the No. 19 player in the 2026 recruiting class and No. 3 overall at her position.
Not only did she pick Brooks and Kentucky for her college of choice, but Greenway chose the Wildcats over Clemson, Duke, Iowa, Stanford, and UCLA — which says A LOT about Brooks, Kentucky, and their recruiting efforts.
Greenway told Kentucky Sports Radio in a recent interview that she is coming to Kentucky “to make my own path.”
According to 247 Sports, she’s the first player inside the top-25 rankings to commit to a school. Lilly Williams (Michigan State) is the only other player inside the top-30 to go ahead and make a commitment.
Landing Greenway a huge win for Brooks, Kentucky and the future of the program.
