New Kentucky coach Mark Pope continues to build roster for his first season in the Bluegrass.
Kentucky on Sunday landed a pledge from Wake Forest graduate transfer Andrew Carr.
The 6-foot-10 West Chester, Pa. native averaged 13.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 assists last season with the Demon Deacons.
Excited to announce I am transferring to the University of Kentucky for my graduate season. I know what it means to wear Kentucky across my chest and couldn’t be more ready to get to work!! Go Cats! pic.twitter.com/GFSJnnjYFU

Carr joins incoming transfers Otega Oweh (Oklahoma), Lamont Butler (San Diego State) and Amari Williams (Drexel).
The Wildcats also added 6-4 former BYU commit Collin Chandler and are retaining 6-2 Kentucky commit Travis Perry.
Pope and his staff also reached out to AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2025, and he plans to visit this fall, his father told ZAGSBLOG.
