Kentucky did something for the first time in Rupp Arena history on Saturday.
They lost their third-straight game at Rupp Arena, which is something they haven’t done before. The arena opened in 1976.
It’s also Kentucky’s first three-game losing streak at home since 1966.

Gonzaga went into Lexington and got a massive 89-85 win to get to 18-6 overall. Kentucky was down 10 at the half (42-32) but wasn’t able to close the gap in the second half and fell to 16-7 overall.
Reed Sheppard led the Wildcats with 21 points and was followed close behind by Antonio Reeves with 17 points and Adou Thiero with 15 points.
Prior to this loss at home, the Wildcats had lost to the Tennessee Volunteers and the Florida Gators.
They’ll look to avoid making it four in a row when they take on the Ole Miss Rebels on Tuesday. Tip-off will be at 9:30 p.m. ET.
