The Cats still have a shot.
The Kentucky Wildcats fell to 3-3 (1-3) on the season Saturday night as they dropped another home matchup against the Vanderbilt Commodores.
With six games remaining on the schedule, the Cats need three more wins to become bowl eligible. Well, if you ask around the fanbase, some might think winning three more games could be a stretch. We will get our first look this weekend as the Cats square off with the Florida Gators in Gainesville to see how much fight they have left.
However, Kentucky still gets some love in the latest bowl projections. The Cats’ projections include several potential fun matchups compared to the classic Iowa bowl game we have been used to the last few seasons.
There is still a lot of work to be done, as some media members are even projecting the Cats to not make a bowl game this season. Go get a win this weekend, and maybe some of these destinations will start to become more appealing.
It all starts with winning. Let’s hope this team can get back to that.
