Next Saturday’s Kentucky football Blue-White Game will look a little different for those in attendance.
Head coach Mark Stoops said there won’t be any live tackling during the spring game due to injuries.
“I have eight D-linemen that can’t participate,” Stoops said after yesterday’s practice. “What happens is I’ll put everybody else at risk. If I go full tilt, and O-lineman are playing against freshmen, we’re going to get more injuries. Can’t do it.”
Stoops added that players will “thud it,” which basically means they will wrap up without bringing opposing players down.
