The Wildcats are currently -33 this season.
Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats have had quite an up-and-down few weeks after a tough road loss to the Georgia Bulldogs, 82-69.
The Cats have lost two of their last four after a loss to Ohio State a few weeks ago but defeated Florida in a thriller this past weekend. The Gators just dominated No. 1 Tennessee in Gainesville.
It is no secret the SEC is one of the best conferences in basketball this season, with numerous talented teams that Kentucky will run into, including Georgia and Florida.
One of the glaring issues in Athens was the free-throw line. Not that Kentucky was missing free throws, but that they just did not get to the line nearly as much as Georgia.
As a matter of fact, Georgia made more free throws tonight (29) than Kentucky even attempted as a team (19).
It has been an issue and has been magnified since the start of SEC play.
In SEC play, UK is a -33 in FT attempts.

Larry Glover pulled an eye-popping stat through just two games in SEC play, and it is that Kentucky is -33 in free throw attempts since tipping of conference play.
The bottom line is Kentucky needs to find a way to get to the line more because it was a killer against Georgia.
