Kentucky is no longer an option for Utah State transfer Great Osobor, his agent George Langberg told ZAGSBLOG.
The 6-foot-8 forward visited Kentucky this weekend, but the Wildcats have stocked up on frontcourt players under new coach Mark Pope with Amari Williams (Drexel), Andrew Carr (Wake Forest) and Brandon Garrison (Oklahoma State).
Osobor, who averaged 17.7 points, 9 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 2.8 assists on 57.7% shooting last season, visits Louisville beginning Wednesday (today) and is will also visit Texas and Washington.
New Louisville head man Pat Kelsey has also been hot in the portal, bringing in six roster additions, including JMU standout Terrence Edwards Jr.
Texas Tech and Grant McCasland have eagerly been rebuilding their roster, adding former Drake guard Kevin Overton and Pitt forward Fede Federiko. Osobor and Federiko would form a great frontcourt tandem with complementing play styles.
Finally, Washington has had a strong first offseason under Osobor’s former coach Danny Sprinkle. Sprinkle has retained freshman signees Zoom Diallo and Jase Butler while bringing in Rice transfer Mekhi Mason three weeks ago.
