Kentucky was previously 10-0 when making at least three 3-pointers and scored over 10 points, but now they are 10-1 after losing to Alabama.
Before facing No. 4 Alabama, one trend had been consistent for the Kentucky Wildcats this season: When Koby Brea knocked down at least three 3-pointers and scored over 10 points, the Wildcats were undefeated at 10-0.
That streak, however, came to an end as Kentucky fell to Alabama, 96-83, marking the first loss in such games.
Brea did his part offensively, leading the Wildcats with 20 points. He went 4/10 from beyond the arc and 7/17 from the field overall. Despite his performance, the Wildcats were unable to capitalize, allowing Alabama to take control in the second half.
Brea’s shooting has been a major factor in Kentucky’s success this season, and his ability to space the floor remains crucial for the Wildcats. However, their loss to Alabama shows that even when he performs well, Kentucky needs more to secure victories against elite competition.
Now sitting at 10-1 when Brea hits at least three threes and scores over 10 points, Kentucky will look to bounce back and start a new winning trend.
