Ray has played significant snaps for the past two seasons.
With one year of eligibility remaining, Kentucky Wildcats offensive lineman Dylan Ray is entering the transfer portal, he announced Wednesday.

With a complete restructure and overhaul of the offensive line taking place for Mark Stoops and Eric Wolford, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the former West Virginia Mountaineers transfer has decided to hit the portal for his final season.
Kentucky landed a massive get from the portal earlier in the week with Arkansas Razorbacks guard Josh Braun, who would have, presumably, started at Offensive Guard — Ray’s position.
“I want to thank the University of Kentucky and the coaching staff for helping me get to where I am today and for the opportunities they have provided me,” Ray said. “BBN, thank you for all of your support and making Lexington a home away from home.”
Offensive line was the most scrutinized unit on the field for the Wildcats this past season, as Brock Vandagriff and other quarterbacks struggled to get into any rhythm as a passer, seemingly due to an offensive line that could not hold up against other SEC defensive lines — other than Ole Miss.
Kentucky will look to continue adding from the portal.
