It wasn’t beautiful, but No. 6 Kentucky settled down in the second half and got out of Arkansas with a 63-57 victory Saturday night.
Kentucky started the game with 2-for-19 shooting from the field, which propelled Arkansas to an early 10-point lead. The Wildcats (15-4, 5-2 SEC) fought back to trail 26-24 at the half.
In the second half, Kentucky warmed up a bit and finally pulled away for an important road win.

Antonio Reeves led the Cats with 24 points. Reed Sheppard finished with 14 points, 5 assists and 4 steals off the bench. Tre Mitchell chipped in a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Kentucky returns home for a battle against Florida on Wednesday night.
