The Kentucky women’s basketball team improved to 11-1 on the season with an impressive 88-70 victory over Western Kentucky on Saturday afternoon at Historic Memorial Coliseum.
Georgia Amoore and Clara Strack led the way with 21 points each for the Wildcats. Strack also pulled down 12 rebounds while Amoore dished out 9 assists.
Teonni Key added 15 points for the Cats. Saniah Tyler came off the bench to contribute 11 points. Amelia Hassett shipped in 9 points and 12 boards.

The Wildcats will begin Southeastern Conference play in their next game on January 2 when Mississippi State comes to Historic Memorial Coliseum. Tip time is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.
