Is Walker in danger of missing Saturday’s game?
The Kentucky Wildcats are less than 24 hours away from their kickoff against the Auburn Tigers as they look to finally win an SEC home game this season.
This is a huge matchup for both programs. The Cats are hoping to get to bowl eligibility, and this game will likely be the deciding factor in whether they make it. Well, they will have to do so short-handed.
Throughout this week, we have seen that the Cats will be without Demie Sumo-Karngbaye and Chip Trayanum on the offensive side of the ball. Kentucky will also be without Maxwell Hairston and Jantzen Dunn in the secondary.
Now, we’ve learned that Deone Walker could potentially miss Saturday night’s matchup. Listed as questionable on tonight’s injury report, the UK superstar defensive lineman will be a game-time decision.
Let’s hope Walker can play. Or else, this will be a very hard game to win.
