The talented cornerback will likely miss another week.
The Kentucky Wildcats are looking for a bounce-back win this weekend, but they will have to do so in Gainesville against the Florida Gators.
The Cats have owned the series with the Gators as of late, but with both teams entering at 3-3, this game will be about snatching momentum heading into the back half of the season for both programs. Well, we found out from tonight’s initial injury report that the Cats will have to do so shorthanded on the defensive side of the ball once again.
According to the report, cornerback Maxwell Hairston will once again be out after suffering a shoulder injury earlier this season.
However, some good news for the Cats is that Chip Trayanum has once again received some positive momentum to return to the field, and he has received a questionable designation to kick off the report for the week.
For the Gators, they will be without starting QB Graham Mertz, as he was ruled out for the season earlier this week due to an ACL tear.
Going to be worth keeping an eye on the report this week as the Cats could welcome back a potential key piece to an offense trying find its legs.
