Kentucky may be getting some key players back from injury.
The Kentucky Wildcats are now less than 48 hours away from their matchup with the Florida Gators in Gainesville as both programs look to gain some momentum heading into the back half of the season. In what should be a fun matchup, unfortunately both teams will be missing some key players due to injury.
For Kentucky, we learned in the initial injury report that they will be without Maxwell Hairston for the third straight game. In tonight’s update, we now have some positive news.
In tonight’s latest update, running back Chip Trayanum got a positive update to his designation, as he is now listed as probable. If Trayanum is able to go, this will be the season debut for the Ohio State transfer.
Also progressing towards playing this week is freshman defensive back Terhyon Nichols, who is listed as probable as well. After missing the Vanderbilt game this past week, the talented cornerback returning to the field would be a welcomed sight against some talented Florida wide-outs.
We will get our final update tomorrow. Hopefully, the Cats will get some more positive news.
