The (likely) 2024 finale for Kentucky football.
The Kentucky Wildcats will cap off their regular season in Week 14 when they host the Louisville Cardinals in the annual Governor’s Cup.
The SEC and ACC have announced game times and TV channel designations for the final week of regular-season play. The Cats will take on the Cards at noon ET on the SEC Network.
In what’s usually been a major game for one or both programs, that’s not the case this year, which is why we won’t see this on ABC or one of the main ESPN channels. Not after the Cards just lost in hilariously embarrassing fashion to Stanford this past weekend, which will keep them out of the top 25 and the College Football Playoff mix for the rest of 2024.
The Cats can add some intrigue to it with a win over Texas this week, which would put them at 5-6 and in position to make a bowl by beating Louisville.
